前几天SAPX.NET还颇受欢迎，决定改名字为SAP导航，再开放一个SAPX.CN，名称定为SAP公社。

打算进入SAP咨询领域的朋友很多，只是SAP的产品过于复杂，而实施了SAP的企业也不愿意重新培养自己SAP人员――培养了不长时间就因为薪资待遇问题而离职，得不偿失。所以对于有ERP工作经验的人来说，SAP的门槛太高。入行的机会甚至远小于那些刚毕业的学生。

经历了超过10次的失败之后，终于成功地在虚拟机安装了SAP R/3 4.6D，操作系统是Windows 2003 standard server，分配给256M内存，最大40G硬盘，分区两个，Oracle和SAP都装在了D盘的NTFS分区。



对了，虚拟机安装了2个网卡，并且一个网卡指定IP为192.168.0.1，另一个NET连接。

希望能有时间做一个完整的安装Video，还要注册一个域名，正式开始我的SAP学习之旅。

兴奋中，有点不想睡觉。

While installing 4.6 system, at 96%, I recd the following error, I tried several times but getting the same problem again and again at 96%.

Can anybody help me?
I know the DDIC user default password is 19920706,but how to change the DDIC password?

update 2006-10-18

Good news, i have installed the SAP sucessfully today. below is the solution regarding to this problem.

Just add one line into my host file as below:
192.168.0.1 sap
192.168.0.1 is the IP address of my network card
SAP is my hostname(computer name/server name)
The file location is C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc\hosts.

Problems in the phase RFCRADDBDIF_IND_IND

The execution of report "RADDBDIF" in the phase RFCRADDBDIF_IND_IND can fail for different reasons. However, the complete execution of the report is also very important. You notice that problems have occurred if the phase terminates or an error appears in the log file. After discovering an error, you must execute the report again manually in Transaction SE38.


If R3SETUP terminates and the manual execution of the report "RADDBDIF" initializes a short dump "WRITE_FAILED" in Transaction SE38, the alias "SAPTRANSHOST" was presumably not found:

When you enter the local host during the installation for the question about the SAP transport host, it is used correctly. However, if you enter a different host name, this must also be reachable under the alias "SAPTRANSHOST", otherwise, R/3 does not function correctly and the above-mentioned termination occurs.

Enter this alias in your DNS server or create the following line for your \winnt\system32\drivers\etc\hosts file (or modify an existing line accordingly):

" SAPTRANSHOST"

Then restart the R/3 System and the service SAP_ and continue the installation.

从昨天晚上开始折腾，半夜里还起来看安装进度，反正电脑已经连续工作超过12小时了。终于搞定了在VMware中安装一个win2003 standard server环境，同时虚拟机里面的分区也搞定，SAP安装文件也复制到了D盘，就差开始安装了。

因为中午要去吃素餐、晚上还要去吃，索性先做了个Snapshot，然后又做了一个full clone，明天继续安装SAP。

昨天晚上回到家里不到6点，然后从6点开始设置CMOS从IDE1开始启动，启用新硬盘中的已经安装好的Windows server 2003 English version。开始安装SAP R3/4.6。
正个程序安装过程都比较顺利，不过到了安装数据文件的进度到96%的时候提醒输入User DDIC 的密码，我输入了3次密码，超过错误次数，整个安装中断，只好明天请教Max来帮忙解决这个问题。

首次安装用了3个小时45分钟左右，遇到这个问题，是坏事，更是好事。

安装完毕之后的集团环境配置还需要大概2个小时，争取下周搞定所有服务器端和客户端的配置和正常使用。整个安装过程将在成功以后放出安装图文说明文档，共希望学习SAP的朋友参考。
